Note: Fountain Square, where Chicago Street, Douglas Avenue and Grove Avenue intersect, is not a really a square, but a triangle. There is no longer a fountain there anymore, either. And the triangle isn't even really there anymore since they cut Grove off from Douglas. I think those Elgin Watchmakers saw so many circles, they didn't know what other shapes were.
